In this talk we demonstrate how to use Jupyter Notebook to introduce students to Python (calculations and graphics) and Markdown&Latex (document/text generation) as a set of tools intended to support students’ maths learning process in a mathematics-for-economists-type course. Students’ ability to open an .ipynb file (Jupyter Notebook file), to explore file’s text&code chunks, as well as to dissect file’s mathematical content are assessed through a Moodle quiz with .ipynb files embedded into quiz questions’ text.
